"I wasn't sure why I didn't get an answer as to what my elevated WBC was caused by. Doctor said that an elevated WBC was not indicative of an infection. Although my left ear was hurting and my sinus cavity was tender, doctor said the ear looked clear and my right ear looked inflamed. My throat was burning,she said it was just a little red. She prescribed an antibiotic, but failed to explain why my WBC was high. She did check past Wbc's, they went from 8, in December to 10 in March to 12.9 in April. She suggested I make an appointment with Dr. Ogle and have her get an A-1 C and discuss any other problems with her. Still don't know what to do with the WBC getting persistently higher. Don't want to get on internet to educate myself on how to correct this problem, was hoping to get an answer from the doctor. "

"I would have appreciated more information on what's going on and testing done that my previous doctor recommended. Also confirmation that I will be getting in with a cardiologist. I asked about a followup and the doctor said to see my other doctor but I can't see mother doctor. He's out for a month from what I was told. I just got prescribed another medication. "
