Dr Shayeb is always thorough with explanations on my medications & follow-up visits. He’s been our doctor for many years & we trust his expertise and confidentiality in our care!

Dr. Shayeb is the best. Sorry to hear he is leaving Texas Tech Physicians to practice elsewhere. I’ll be following him there.

Referrals are not completed in a timely manner. There is no way to contact staff to check on referrals. The office phone number given keeps you in hold 15-20 minutes with no one to answer. This is an unsafe practice.

It was our last visit with dr Shayeb as my mom is moving in to assisted living. She wanted to say good bye and thank you for taking care of her and her husband that passed away last November. He did not even look at her when she said good bye and could not seem to get us out fast enough.

Dr Shayeb & his staff were easy to communicate with, friendly, informative, and very knowledgeable. The wait time was short and I the visit was very productive.

Once you can finally get an appointment and get there, everything is pretty good. \r\nToo bad they can’t fix their lousy phone system for getting to your doctor. Hope I never need him in an emergency, I’ll be screwed unless I can drive there to talk to someone in person because you’ll never reach him by phone.

The only problem I ever have is getting through to Dr Shayeb’s office by phone.

Dr Shayeb is amazing and very knowledgeable with all my care. He is in the Internal Medicine Department. I will never go back to the family Medicine department because of all the problems and being misdiagnosed because they always have very young new doctors.

Dr Sheyab & staff are always efficient. He’s the only doctor I’ve ever been to that sees his patients on time! The trouble is getting to talk to someone in his office when needed. The phone system is atrocious! No matter which option I choose, it NEVER has gone to his office. I was answered by a real person one time and she transferred me to Brittany, Dr Sheyab’s nurse’s voicemail. I’m glad my appointments are made 6 months in advance. I’ve gone to an emergency center here in Odessa the couple of times I needed to see Dr Sheyab w/o a regular appointment because I couldn’t get an answer to his phone. It is not efficient at all!

Dr. Shayeb is knowledgeable and caring. I enjoy having him as my PCP.
