About

Mark Reedy, M.D. is a board-certified, gynecologic oncologist with extensive experience in the surgical and medical management of women with gynecologic malignancies. Dr. Reedy currently serves as the Director of Translational Gynecologic Oncology at the UMC-TLC2 Foundation Cancer Center where he conducts clinical trials.

Dr. Reedy earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Scott & White Hospital & Clinic/Texas A&M University School of Medicine. Following residency, he continued subspecialty fellowship training in advanced pelvic surgery at Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale followed by completion of a 3-year gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. Dr. Reedy is board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Reedy is a physician-scientist who holds faculty appointments in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Department of Cell Biology and Biochemistry. He actively contributes to medical education and clinical/translational research at TTUHSC. His research interests are in the treatment and biomarker surveillance of HPV-associated lower genital tract malignancies and novel therapies and diagnostic biomarkers for ovarian cancers.
